A professional guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in Kathmandu, usually around 9:00 AM, to start the tour. The timing can be adjusted based on your preferences.

Arrival at Boudhanath: Your first stop is the Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest and holiest stupas in Nepal, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This iconic site is a major pilgrimage destination for Tibetan Buddhists.

Explore the Stupa: Walk around the stupa’s base and observe the intricate Tibetan Buddhist architecture. You can spin the prayer wheels as you walk around and observe the religious practices of the locals.

Insight into Tibetan Buddhism: Your guide will explain the significance of the stupa, the history of Boudhanath, and its importance in Tibetan Buddhism. You’ll also get a chance to visit nearby monasteries and explore the vibrant market area surrounding the stupa.

Drive to Kathmandu Durbar Square: After Boudhanath, you will head to the historic Kathmandu Durbar Square, which is located about 30 minutes away from Boudhanath (depending on traffic).

Explore Kathmandu Durbar Square: This UNESCO World Heritage Site is the former royal palace complex and the heart of old Kathmandu. You’ll explore the intricate Newar architecture, visit the Hanuman Dhoka Palace, and admire the ornate temples and shrines scattered throughout the square.

After visiting the Durbar Square, enjoy a delicious lunch at a nearby restaurant. You’ll typically be served traditional Nepali dishes such as dal bhat (lentil soup with rice), momo (dumplings), and fried rice. You can choose from various local restaurants offering authentic flavors.

Drive to Pashupatinath: After lunch, head to Pashupatinath, one of the holiest Hindu temples in Nepal, dedicated to Lord Shiva. The drive takes about 20–30 minutes from Kathmandu Durbar Square.

Explore Pashupatinath: Pashupatinath is an active temple and a major pilgrimage site for Hindus, especially during festivals like Maha Shivaratri.

Drive Back to Hotel: After visiting Pashupatinath, your driver and guide will drop you back at your hotel in Kathmandu.
